Premium produce and workmanship aside. It would be difficult to keep returning and together with the high mark up for the wines, which is the norm I know, would put some customers off. ”

It’s a fine dining experience with either a 6- or 8-course menu - no à la carte - so everything feels very intentional and well thought out. The staff were fantastic, friendly, and explained every dish beautifully. The food was exceptional from start to finish. Each dish had its own personality, with balanced flavours, creative combinations, and flawless presentation. Just when we thought dessert was over, they brought out a surprise anniversary cake - soft, rich, and probably one of the best we’ve ever had - followed by another gorgeous dessert to finish. Everything felt so well paced and special. Paris Butter delivers something truly memorable - refined but relaxed, with real heart behind every detail. Definitely one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in New Zealand. ”
